Responsibilities Works under general supervision of the gardener leader who assigns working areas and projects to be accomplished. Responsible for watering Golf Course by following specific instructions given by the supervisor. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping to move manual irrigation to different dry areas on the Golf Course. May be tasked to carry heavy objects such as bags of fertilizer, grass, seed, etc., weighing up to 50 pounds. Will work outside, possibility in rain or in uncomfortable hot and humid conditions.
Conditions of Employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty. Incumbent may be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. May be required to lift object weighing up to 50 pounds. Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. Selected applicants must successfully pass a Medical Physical Examination .
