The Chief of Staff will play a vital role in expanding and integrating the program within the local and regional market in the context of an ever-changing healthcare system. Area of responsibility includes the entire state of Hawaii with satellite clinic sites on Kauai, Maui and the island of Hawaii in Hilo and Kona.
Established outreach clinics in the west and south Pacific areas to include American Samoa, Samoa, Tonga, Kiribati, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, Fiji, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands.
Diverse patient population with under-treated and untreated chronic orthopedic conditions such as osteomyelitis, post-traumatic deformities, talipes equinovarus, osteogenesis imperfecta, developmental dysplasia of the hip, slipped capital femoral epiphysis, congenital scoliosis, adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, chronic knee ligamentous injuries, cerebral palsy, myelodysplasia, brachial plexus palsy, and upper extremity congenital anomalies.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy degree (DO)
- Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Pediatric Orthopedic fellowship
- Board certification
- Minimum of 10 years clinical experience with leadership in managing physicians
- Demonstrates skill and interest in research and education
Our ideal candidate will have current experience as a leader in an academic and or hospital/clinical environment, known as a strong contributor in research and publications and presentations, an active member of POSNA, AAOS, other pertinent state, local and national memberships, and must be a mentor to young attending physicians, fellows and residents.
