The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.
- Configure, operate, and maintain the DOD- mandated network compliance and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC) / Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)) on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and Coalition networks. Conduct regularly scheduled enterprise level scans IAW established DISA, ARCYBER and Enterprise-level SOPs, as well as ad hoc scans. Scans may also include using the Army provided scanning/forensic tools such as Nessus, Cobalt Strike, etc. in support of USARCC-E DCO Division or ARCYBER.
- Prepare Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP); Standard Operating Procedures; and whitepapers.
- Provide regular reports as established by the USARCC-E IA Division to include vulnerability trend analyses. Generate these reports in multiple formats as required for various DOD compliance tools (VMS, CMRS, etc). Scans may also include using specialized Army provided scan/forensic tools, as in support of USARCC-E DCO Division or ARCYBER.
Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience.
Specialized Certification: DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
Specialized Experience: The following experience may be concurrent: Four (4) years’ experience using, developing, and maintaining Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); Two (2) years’ experience with UNIX or Microsoft server based platforms.; two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.
Special Requirements: DoD 8570.01-M, IA workforce certification: IAT-III.
