HII- Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) is currently seeking a Cybersecurity/Information Assurance professional to work in our Honolulu, HI office in support of various CONUS and OCONUS office locations.

HII MDIS has over 2100 employees worldwide who deliver critical services to our DoD, IC and Federal/Civilian customers across five service portfolios: IT and Software Applications; Modeling, Simulation, and Training; Mission Engineering and Operations Support; Intelligence and Cyberspace Operations; and Logistics and Lifecycle Management.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

This individual will be responsible for supporting the planning, conduct review of architectural and engineering plans, support implementation, and the enablement of operations of Risk Management Framework (RMF) for the Network Enterprise Centers (NEC) of various CONUS/OCONUS office locations. This role will provide continuous technical and analytical support in the review and application of Cybersecurity processes, policy, doctrine, directives, and regulations, and ensure Cybersecurity policy compliance and implementation.

Technical Support to the Cybersecurity Program Manager (CSPM) is to be provided as this position is required to assess information technology policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure an optimal balance of security and operational requirements.

This individual is expected to remain abreast of all changes to pertinent Federal, Department of Defense (DoD), Chairman of the Joint Chief Staff Memorandum (CJCSM), and other security-related directives, instructions and regulations and recommend changes to existing LOIs Memorandums and Directives or the establishment of new LOIs Memorandums, and Directives as appropriate.

Perform gap analyses to determine the completeness of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist in the creation of SOPs in support of Cybersecurity, Computer Network Defense, Physical Security, Personal Security, and Directives as appropriate. Provide research and recommendations in support of Cybersecurity SOPs supporting regulatory guidance and accurate systematic procedures.

This position will support the daily management of operational Cybersecurity engineering and Risk Management Framework (RMF) tasks; provide design, testing, documentation, integration, administration, and management of Cybersecurity mitigation measures; support the implementation of various computer network, systems, and telecommunications efforts; conduct technical inspections to verify Configuration Management of information systems; support telecommunication modernization, sustainment, and advanced technology efforts; support in the implementation of security policies and test measures for all globally deployable assets to include baseband, routers, switches, and images utilized in direct operational support.

This position will provide additional Cybersecurity support in the following subtask areas:

Review Standards, Architecture, Engineering, and Integration Support

Assess and Authorize

Network Connection Approval Process

Qualifications and Experience:

Required ?

It is required that the IA/Cybersecurity Lead has the following qualifications:

9-13 Years with Bachelors or 7-11 Years with Masters or 4-8 Year with Phd

Possess an Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III Certification.

A minimum of ten years of experience integrating DoD and Army cybersecurity policy into information technology projects.

A minimum of five years of experience in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.

Clearance: must possess and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to SCI based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).

Preferred ?

A minimum of five years of experience managing cybersecurity at the program level.

Experience with planning, directing, and coordinating cybersecurity requirements for network and systems administration.

Experience with verbal/written communication skills to articulate cybersecurity requirements/concerns at the ASCC and above levels.

Security:

All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

This position requires a Top Secret (TS), SCI based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).
