Responsible for customer service, processing and follow up with First Hawaiian Bank Merchants regarding all merchant servicing needs. Actively performs outbound calls to cross sell all Business Services products to existing customers meeting their needs and recognizing continued opportunities to sell other bank services according to agreed upon goals. Performs credit underwriting of existing customer accounts applying for additional locations, name, or ownership changes and of customers applying for merchant credit card services and recommends approval or disapproval as appropriate. Conducts on-site presentation/demos of our Merchant Services and selected Business Services products to customer/prospects.
Bachelors degree in business and/or equivalent work experience in Business Services highly preferred.
2-3 years of banking and/or sales experience a must.
Extensive customer service skills with strong oral and written communication skills for group presentations and written correspondence and proposals required.
Effective interpersonal skills essential for interaction with diverse levels of employees, customers and management on a regular basis.
PC proficiency in MS Office, 10-key by touch and ability to perform basic mathematical problems and analysis essential.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
