The Access Management Department Manager is responsible for the planning, direction, and oversight of the bank's access management activities and initiatives. Includes management of end-to-end operational provisioning services to support internal employees' capabilities to retrieve access to core banking systems and applications, and the program's adherence to applicable regulatory requirements. Ensures appropriate staffing and skill levels to develop and maintain best practices and processes. Major areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to: strategic program development, risk management, project management, vendor management, provisioning services, reporting, and IT governance.


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Program management experience preferred.
  • 1 years' progressively responsible experience with access management/provisioning, including experience designing and implementing an access management program required.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Experience developing key performance indicator (KPI) metrics to measure operating effectiveness for management review.
  • Demonstrated experience with audits and working closely with auditor and regulators.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives at once.
  • Experience working with active directory, user provisioning, help desk, systems/application administration, etc.
  • Strong technical understanding of IAM principles (e.g., authentication, user lifecycle management, principle of least privilege, access models, etc.) and demonstrated ability to apply them.
  • Able to work independently and with a team, prioritize tasks, effectively management time to ensure customer SLA's and expectations are met.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills including the ability to translate technical terms and concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
  • Able to plan, organize and budget independently.
