Job SummaryInteract remotely (currently) with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. This position also assists with leadership development programs in the department.

Primary Responsibilities01. Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints., 02. Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems., 03. Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken., 04. Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, or adjusting bills., 05. Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, or issue service discontinuance orders, using computers., 06. Performs other duites as assigned.

Job Details

While this position generally works at the Aloha Center Information Desk at the Aloha Center, during the pandemic this position performs those duties remotely. Those interested in this position should have great customer service, ability to communicate effectively and responsively, understand and have working knowledge of social media platforms, MicroSoft Office Suite, and other computer skills. Employees in this position also create, edit, and collaborate on documents, keep files and manuals, and keep records. This position also supports the co-curricular leadership development programs, such as: Clubs, Service Center, Co-curricular Transcript, and Leadership Path learning programs. Following the pandemic restrictions, this position will resume in-person work at the Aloha Center and add the following to the above description: Maintain the Aloha Center Mall, weekdays, evenings and weekends. Enforce BYUH Honor and Dress Code and Grooming standards. Issue Pool passes and Alumni ID's. Assist students, staff and guest with information as needed with our University. Perform other tasks as assigned. Operate the University Student ID's. Answer questions and concerns about the university.
